Yin - Yang

As beautiful and complex beings, we need both energies: the feminine and the masculine in order to feel balanced. They exist together in us and in all things.

My YIN is nurturing, grounded, soft and trusting of her intuition.

In the other hand, the sacred masculine energy is logical, present and focused with a strong desire to build and protect.

I am personally discovering how to lean into my feminine energy more.

My YANG is super present and powerful at times and is allowing me to chase my dreams, take decisions and lead many projects at the forefront but I also feel so much in my head most of the time…

And let’s be honest, we live in a society where masculine norms and values are more prevalent. So it represents a challenge for many of us to embody our feminine energy.

I am personally learning to bring compassion towards my overthinking and controlling parts but I am also consciously choosing to bring more YIN and therefore more balance into my life.

The feminine energy is present when I flow, when I allow others to take the lead, when I trust my body, when I am instead of I do and when I trust my inner intuition.

Self-care is a way for me to bring feminine energy into my life such as yoga, meditation, journaling, or any other activity that helps me feel centered and grounded.

Another great way for me to tap into that intuitive side is to bring creativity into my life like writing, dancing, painting, drawing.

The last element that has been truly beneficial in order to help me reconnect with my intuitive, receptive, and nurturing qualities is nature. Taking a walk in a forest or simply observe the natural beauty of a sunset has been tremendously transformative.
